What is the difference between Single Vision and Progressive?

You can choose between Single Vision or Progressive (Multifocal) Lenses. Single Vision Lenses are designed to provide clear vision at a fixed distance. They correct one field of vision, such as Distance only, Intermediate only, or Reading only. Unlike progressive lenses, single-vision lenses have the same optical power throughout the lens. Progressive Lenses provide a seamless progression from distance, to intermediate, to near, allowing for clear vision at multiple focal points. If your prescription includes ADD or NV-ADD then it can be ordered as a Progressive lens.

How do I find my prescription details?

Please ensure your prescription is valid (not expired) and signed by a Licensed EyeCare Provider, before placing an order.

What is PD and how do I find it?

Your Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement indicates the distance between the centers of your pupils, in millimeters. It is a required measurement that ensures your new lenses are custom aligned over the center of your pupil for proper clarity. If you do not know your PD, or don't have it on your prescription, you can enter 63 (as an average PD value is between 58 and 65 for an adult.) PD can be written in different ways: Single PD = A single number (62) = The total distance between the center of both pupils. Dual PD = A specific measurement from each pupil (Right & Left) to the bridge of the nose. (33/31 or Right=33 Left=31)
