RANDOLPH x Operation Gratitude: A Salute to Those Who Serve
"The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding go out to meet it."
— Pericles
When wildfires swept across Los Angeles this year, first responders didn’t hesitate. They didn’t pause to weigh the risks. They moved forward—toward the flames, not away from them—because that’s what duty looks like.
At RANDOLPH, we’ve always believed that those who serve—whether in the skies or on the ground—deserve to be seen. That’s why we partnered with Operation Gratitude to donate sunglasses to firefighters and first responders on the front lines of the LA wildfires. A small gesture, but one that carries meaning. Because when you spend your days running toward danger, sometimes it's good to be reminded that people have your back.

When Danger Calls, They Answer
Wildfires have become a harsh reality in California, growing stronger and more unpredictable each year. First responders—firefighters, EMTs, law enforcement—stand as the shield between disaster and the people they’re sworn to protect. They face smoke, heat, and exhaustion. But still, they show up.
For us, eyewear has always been about more than just style. It’s about protection, clarity, and resilience—qualities shared by every man and woman on those fire lines. It’s an honor to give them something that offers both functional protection from the elements and a reminder that their service is seen, valued, and appreciated.
Partnering with Operation Gratitude: A Shared Mission of Thanks
Operation Gratitude has a long history of showing up for America’s heroes—sending care packages, letters, and support to active duty service members, veterans, and first responders. When they approached us about contributing to their giveback efforts, there was no question. We were in.
Through this partnership, RANDOLPH sunglasses were donated directly to the men and women battling the wildfires, offering them durable, American-made eyewear built to stand up to the toughest conditions. It was a way for us to say thank you—and to remind them that while they’re protecting others, we’re thinking of them.
